(fondly known as Ronnie to his siblings, and Ah Hock to his friends and relatives), formerly the owner of Shing Hooi Electrical Engineering,and a life-long resident of Penang, died unexpectedly on May 18th, 2020 at the age of 66. He was preceded in death by his father, Chin Yim Seang and his mother, Ong Guat Kin.

He is survived by his wife, Tan Lean Kim (also known as Ah Poh) and his seven siblings, two god-sisters, eight nieces, one nephew, three great-nieces and one great-nephew.

Ronnie was a jovial and generous hearted man, and a jokester in the family. He was also a spiritual man involved in many Buddhist and Taoist temple activities. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.
