Memories of her and such, linger, Reminding us how we failed her
For we left her an empty nest, Busy with our lives, families and stress ...
Yet, through the turmoil and tears, Happy and difficult years
Mum propped our backs and soothed our pain
Mum, we ran to, again and again
As we remember Mum on this first anniversary
We celebrate a woman who was gentle, yet feisty
Little education but full of intelligence
Great wife to her “Ah Lau”, greatest mother to her children.
We loved you then, we love you now. We will love you always , Mummy!
