We look back on all those good times, when we had you by our side.
No one knows our heartache, for only those who have lost can tell;
Of the sorrow we bear in silence, for our parents we loved so well.
Rest peacefully, dear Amma and Acha; your work on earth is done.
You gave your best for all of us; your daughters and your sons.
May the winds of Heaven whisper; ever so softly in your ears,
How much we love and miss you, and wish that you were here.
They say it’s a beautiful journey, from this world to the new.
Someday we’ll walk that passage, which will lead us straight to you.
And when we reach God’s glorious garden,
our heavenly abode attained,
We’ll put our arms around you; never to part again.
