It is with great sadness that the Chin family announces the death of Joseph Chin Nyet Fah in Auckland, New Zealand. Joseph was called home to be with the Lord on 22 January 2021 while embraced in the love and thoughts of family and friends in person and abroad.

Joseph was a devoted husband of Maria, loving father to Helen and Michael and his partner Glenn, 

and doting grandfather of Adrian. He was also a much loved and respected son, brother, uncle, grand-uncle, cousin, friend and teacher of many generations of students he inspired during his many years of service at 

Saint Xavier’s Institution in Penang, Malaysia.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day -

and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”   

 2 Timothy 4:7-8
